The Cesiomaggiore Folk Group reproposes in its shows the folk traditions of the Feltre and Belluno valleys during the end of 19th century with dances, songs and local characters of the past and the past life to let the new generations to study his own forbears in depth and to let the old peoples to live the moments of their childhood again. Being present at the shows it’s possible to see how the shoemaker made up the shoes, how they harvested grapes, how they worked and pass the evenings during the “filò”; but you could meet the “cromera” that comes to the village with her wood case full of all a family needs too, you could meet the village old maid looking for an husband and Quinto, the tailor that serenade his girlfriend …

Cesiomaggiore is one of the most beautiful spots of Belluno province at the foot of Dolomites. A few people village, that hides the old and sound folk wisdom among the green folds of the hills and the narrow roads that go up to halfway on the mountains.
